But isn’t that the exact same design? When I first read the title I thought you made a major makeover.
Either ways it looks great. Congrats.
looks fresher, nice
Same exact design. The cupboards are solid wood, and better than almost anything you can buy these days, so I had them re-faced. New countertop, new sink, new tile backsplash . . . we love it! Also all light and bright, merging into the light and bright re-painted family room. It has a totally new feeling to it, and we all love being in these rooms.
We only have the floor left, and we are still mulling what to do. We love wood floors. . .
Mabrouk
– hope you find it handy…
Congrats
Don’t see a huge differences from the pictures, but I’m sure its nice.
Thanks, Chiki! It has a view out over the bayou, and lots of light now. Very beautiful.
3baid – higher grade materials, all clean and light and bright. Come have a cup of coffee!
Very nice congrats yeah i too thought major. but the color looks better.
No, Blue Dress, we actually like the current design, just wanted one of the new quartz countertops, and wanted that 1950′s decoration over the sink GONE, and lighter colors. It was a minor remodel, not a redesign.
I was thinking of a deja-vu, but after a search I saw the old post! Congratulations on the wall tiles, those look a lot better than the ones before.
Do you have other pics of the whole kitchen? I see you have a breakfestbar off to the right
Joey, I just went back and checked all my photos – no, I don’t! The countertop, including the breakfast bar, was completely replaced with Silestone. We liked the lights, and kept them. Most of the changes were cosmetic – taking out an piece of wood over the windows, painting everything a ship-shape white, putting in white tiles behind the splash – we wanted to brighten up the kitchen / breakfast / family room area and give it a sleeker, cleaner look.
breakfast bars are nice addition to the kitchen, i would really love to install them at my own home
