Ouch – Underwear Bomb Photos
If all those lives had not been at risk, this would almost be pathetic.

Ouch! Poor Guy!
That was a shame to the authorities too – how did he get through all hurdles?!
Awwww intlxpatr I don’t wanna see that!!!!!
Ouch! I wonder what happened to his man parts? maybe hes a lady now!
lol
The news report said that what was supposed to be an explosive device turned into an incendiary (hotly burning) device. I cannot imagine how very very painful that must have been, and the kind of medical treatment he will need for a long time. One passenger said “it looked like his legs had melted.”
Are we sure this was a real attempt… Maybe the guy just had too much chilli.
Sorry – I’m in a silly mood.
Happy, SAFE and Healthy New Year
Bu Yousef – I’m sort of in the same fix. There is a part of me that wants to laugh when I see the underwear; it really is if horrifying and funny at the same time. The thought of what a tragedy it could have been is almost overwhelming, and how it – literally – fizzled – what a miracle.
Discussing it with friends today, one friend suggested that since he was passive, and not shouting in the incredible pain it must have caused, perhaps he had drugged himself? And then, incapacitated by the drugs, made a faulty injection? We don’t know, but the remnants are just sad.
I wonder how the testing/experiment was carried ahead of time? Well, the thing is the Amsterdam airport might install full body scanners at all terminals to US. The Dutch tax payers may either hates US or this diaper guy. (Shaking my head…)
Had not thought of it from that angle, Polar!
I hate diaper guy and also the US who were stupid enough to give him a visa and then the attention gets shifted to the Schiphol security which enables them to bring out the body-scan machines!
Which sucks because I absolutely refuse to get bombarded by tetraherz radiation on a regular basis and now I can’t fly from Amsterdam to America anymore!

Exactly. The radiation and being undressed by the eyes of the people behind the monitor sounds funny…
