Shoulder Ouch!
I have a new muscle I didn’t know I had. It relates to my left shoulder, but it is in my back.
Monday we did a strenuous routine in aqua aerobics. Mostly, I can sail through the routines, but this was stepped up a little, and we used the weights a lot. I must have gotten carried away. I woke up this morning, and ouch! It was a bad surprise.
I know there is no cure. For me, normally, it takes heat and going easy for a while. I know it will pass, but oh, in the meantime, I am moving gingerly. You don’t know how much you use a muscle until it betrays you.

or rather, you betray your muscle. do you remember ye olde tiger balm? it works for this sort of pain.
Thanks, Liz! I actually used the adage “motion is lotion” and found that the pain lessened. I am guessing the muscle tightened up, and normal use loosened it again. Have to find some of that Tiger Balm in case it happens again . . .

Hahahaha YES! I understand! I hurt a groin muscle once trying to squeeze into a pair of pants. Not one of my most graceful momentsf
Holy Cow! I didn’t know you could sprain a groin muscle; I wince just thinking about it! How long did it take before you could move again?
I would waddle. Couldn’t sit cross legged for a long time, but was walking normally in a few days
Oh, Mrm, just the very thought of your pain makes me cringe! My shoulder pain is gone now, only took a matter of days . . . LOL, can you get into those pants now?
