As much as I’d love to promote your biz … specially considering that I was close to posting something called ‘The Death of My Neighbor and Father’ about an amazing jamacan soul who took this disenfranchised adopted Caucasian bastard under hsi wing and taught me things that my long dead father should have … I don;t know anything about your establishment. So, unless you want to pay my airfare down to the beloved island, I will have to decline this post.

BL, I personally think it was a courageous thing to do, because in the USA, breasts are part of who we are. So much so that many women have enhancements to make themselves feel better about themselves, or to attract men. To have breasts taken off is to risk others looking at you with repugnance, or looking away. So for that, I think she was very brave. Some people say it only points out the differences between rich and poor, that the operation is elective, not covered by insurance. I say that it’s not my business what she chooses. Oh my friend, so much material for comment. . .

My Mom is doing great. She lives in a very nice apartment with extra care and very good food. My two sisters live nearby and spring her free frequently, for dinners out, shopping, banking, medical appointments, etc. I help with errands and banking when I pop into town. She has friends and many family members near by. She is a very lucky woman.

We did not go to Ivar’s this time, but we went to both Arnies and Anthony’s

Flying home, I watched a flight attendant NOT help a young mother with a young child. I remembered how kind and caring all the flight attendants were with mothers of young children on Emirates, Qatar Air, even Jazeera. It was a different culture. They also all had some graciousness, not just to first class and business, but to all the passengers, from the guy with the falcon on his arm to the terrified laborer seated next to him (LOL, yes, really)

how is she doing in her current accommodation so far ? Did u go IVAR this time ?

Maybe one day God will have mercy on the flying American public in the USA and allow nice international airlines , or dare i say snazzy middle eastern airlines like Etihad , Qatar or Emirates to carry the harassed and patient American passengers from one Us airport to another as an option to the usual American carriers

Hey, BL, good to see you here. I love your comment. When I started the blog, I was outraged by things I would read in the paper happening in Kuwait – primarily abductions and traffic fatalities. Now that I am back in the USA, I am truly humbled; we are all more alike than we are different. Women raped – even gang raped – on college campuses, at high school parties, and no one steps in, and they are all filming it? 57 meth producers arrested in my small city in one day? Highway fatalities creeping back up (texting, inattention, alcohol, sleep-deprivation? We seem to be hell bent on self-destruction . . .

Oh my goodness. LOL, don’t we sound like our parents???
