The Mermaid of Mangaf

This was just another apartment block going up until they started adding the glass. I was WOWed.
The Mermaid, Mangaf
It’s called the Mermaid, and the glass going up has the feeling of ocean waves. It’s so much more interesting than the hideous blocks of concrete with their tiny windows. Waves of glass . . . cool idea.

  2. This is THE place to live. The building will consist of 2 stories villas with a private car elevator that will take you up to Villa door. Each villa has its own private garden and I think private pool as well. You should check out the website.

  4. Miyafushi – it took me two days to figure out how to get a photo uploaded. . . .did I mention I’m slow? That was really to motivate me to learn how to upload photos . .

Shopa: It looks VERY cool. Great location, top floors will have great views out over a public beach which I would guess would mean it will not be built-up on . . . and near a lot of restaurants, too 🙂 but I can’t find a website. Do you have it?

  9. Drop on by, Jessica, and ask them! Rumor has it they are all sold, but things can change, and sometimes they might want a renter.

  11. jessica, I don’t live there, I just drive by every now and then. Shopa, above, gave an internet address that might have more information. Most of these complexes have management teams to handle prospective buyers/renters.
