Qatar Air Doha 1st Class Lounge
This is the jacuzzi for wearied women travellers . . .
Bring it ONNNNNN!
This is where you sleep if you have a couple hours to kill:
And this is where you eat – and the food is YUMMY:
You check in seated at a desk, then go through customs to the duty-free and the excalator upstairs. At the top of the stairs you are directed to the left for Business or the Right to the First Class Lounge.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere in the First Class Lounge is soothing and spa like. Sheets of cascading water down glass walls, ethereal soft music, and all watery colors. Easy to fall asleep, and it’s OK, because they come and get you, personally, when you need to board for your flight. Amazing. Kinda the ultimate.
Naaahhhh, I don’t travel first class all the time. Had to get someplace, weren’t any other tickets available. Enjoyed it all the way.
Whooa Nice, I bet you had fun 🙂
wow. I have been living the wrong life :-)!
WOW! I am sure my next flight to middle east will be on Qatar Air Doha! great photos and even better inviting article!
Holy Smokes, Suresh – YOU like my photos? I am honored, indeed! Folks, check out Suresh’s site for photos that will knock your socks off.
oh my god, this is soooooo unfair. I trsvelled to Abu Dhabi via Doha in November and the new louge was not there. I am soo unlucky
I think it just opened in December for the Asian games. I didn’t even know it existed until January.
Sorry to rain down on your parade but the Emirates First Class lounge in Dubai is tops and quite easily beats the Doha lounge in second place.
Peace!
Hello, unassuming Lebanese, and welcome. I think Emirates First Class lounge in Dubai is lovely in it’s own way, and the Doha lounge has a serenity that the Dubai lounge lacks. It also has some very nice features – you are personally informed when your transport to the plane is ready, everything is clean clean clean, expensive, well kept up and truly, first class.
Ahhh so THAT’s the difference between business class lounge and first class?
I just flew Qatar and loved it! I was in Business class though, from outside and across the glass, both lounges looked the same, but I could have used that bed…
Here was my review of business class flying:
