  1. What is the sale like? Any good deals? I saw the ad in Kuwait Times but haven’t had time to go to Shuwaikh. Is it worth it? Also, is it super crowded? I heard the last time Villa Moda had a sale, thousands showed up.

  3. Q8Gypsy – I haven’t a clue. I took this before the sale because I think Villa Moda is a hoot.

    Evil – the guy.

  4. hey there! you may not buy manolos, but I know you do like shoes – its a family trait! I remember driving from Germany to France with you one morning, just to see what new styles were available in your favorite shop:-)!

  5. Hey! I wanna go there too – take me with you the next time you decide to go loot the Villa.
Further and more, my curiosity is killing me now : is Villa Moda Manshar worth a look? And whatever happened to the Paris Gallery “obening soon” @ Al Manshar.

  6. Ooooh, simply pairing “shoes” and “sale” makes me drool, Manolo’s or no. There is a current ad in which a woman states that having “…too many handbags or shoes is mathematically impossible…” Such an obvious truth. The especially delightful salesman is simply icing. But – did anyone find the lovely, yet headless manenquin to be a tad disturbing? LOL!

  7. Little Diamond – Busted! Totally. Thank God I invested in all those shoes; I wear them all the time here!

Arabian Quilt – Sure! Villa Moda Manshar is still NOT OPEN! But there is a beautiful Villa Moda in a building undergoing renovation down near Souk Mubarrakia worth a look, if you have a driver, as there is never any parking available.

Sparkle – I remember finding one of Little Diamond’s shoes at your house and thinking it was an art object. Seriously! But yes, there can come a time when you have too many shoes. I bought some just because they were beautiful, but I haven’t really worn them. . .

  9. Swair, you have a good eye! They do look good! As to the dress – not my thing, either, but I loved the mannequin’s good posture. 😉
