Bundle Up!

If you’ve been following the weather forecasts, this week to come is going to get very very COLD. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be getting down to freezing, below freezing in remote desert areas.

It’s so humid . . . is it possible to have snow in Kuwait? Has it ever snowed here?

  3. You guys should move to the beach over here πŸ˜‰

The astronomer in the Arab Times predicted cold. I was surprised they have an astronomer doing the job though πŸ™‚

If it snows in the desert, I wanna be there – can we do a Photoshooting there?

  4. I have a bad feeling if it snows, we won’t want to be out on the roads, Nicole! People won’t slow down. But oh yes, shooting snow photos in the desert – WOW.

  6. we have schizophrenic weather, so ill just wait and see if the forecasts come true.

it doesnt snow here obviously, but we do get some hail now and then which is brutal and destructive in its own little way.

  12. Hail IS destructive, Mrm, and I saw it here last year. I could hardly believe it. Already it is feeling colder to me – does it feel colder to you?

Chirp – I am thinking it COULD snow. Why not? If it snows, I bet everything stops!

Lady – Moisture + cold = snow. I think it is possible. People in Qatar, just down the road from here, tell me the climate was much moister 50 or so years ago.

Health Freak – Global warming has the flip side of winter cooling? Well, maybe? We really don’t know how all the pieces connect, do we?

Blue Dress – I’m with you. YAYYYYYY!

Nov62 – I bet your granddad is right. And also maybe he is being funny, but I can imagine snow is rare, but possible, here.

  13. Bundling up is always fun, especially, if you are able to do it with a Patrick Dempsey or a Josh Hartnett by your side. We just need an excuse to bundle up, innit ? I am sure there are those out there who wouldn’t mind bundling up in their Patricks and Joshes during Kuwaiti Julys when the shade temperatures can soar up to a cool 47 C.
