Chevy’s Revisited

I told you all about Chevy’s Fresh Mex about a year ago, and since I can’t tell you a whole lot about what I am doing right now, I will tell you more about what we are eating: more Chevy’s Fresh Mex.

Here are my fish tacos, which I ate with Chevy’s fresh made salsa, yummmmmm. Yes, Purg, it is too much food. We don’t eat all of it. Like I only ate the tacos.

My dinner companion had the grilled chicken fajitas – and said that they were also YUMMMMMMMM!

This is not real Mexican food. It is kind of a California-ized kind of Mexican food with a lot of lettuce and really fresh ingredients. It is kind of Mexican-lite. 🙂

  2. Do they serve everyone chips and salsa on the West Coast, without charging you? Just curious, because in Texas, if they charge you for it, we don’t consider it real Tex-Mex… we figure some guy up North came down to open a restaurant.LOL… It looks really good… need to stop reading your blog while you are in the States because it makes me miss those yummy foods even more!

  5. LLOOLL< Jouja!

Mimfoy – Yep – and Chevy’s chips are really, really good, and so is the fresh fresh salsa.

Ansam . . . I have not had a memorable Mexican meal in Kuwait. I know there are some Mexican women married to Kuwaitis, and I am trying to meet them!

Purg – well yes, that and having a good time, hmmmm?

  6. Okay, now that’s just CRUEL to those of us who miss our Mexican food. Points to the various Doha eateries for trying, but…..
Ate at Chevy’s in Santa Rosa CA last summer and loved it!

  7. Oh, Grammy, I am so sorry! And Tex-Mex is SO different (also delicious!) I’m just glad to have a Chevy’s nearby, even temporarily.
