Sunrise Meditation
Good morning, Kuwait!
I had to go out on the balcony this morning to take the sunrise photo; my windows are so streaked with dust and humidity that I can’t find a place clean enough to shoot through! I got a delightful surprise – the morning was comfortable! For a brief time, as brief as it may be, there is no humidity, and the temperatures are falling. “Falling” in this case means maybe down in the 80’s F., LOL, but comfortable!
Actually . . . it was lovely!
You can see, we have that suspicious dark layer hanging over the horizon, hmmm. . . . .looks suspiciously like pollution. Anyone having trouble breathing?
The verses for today’s meditation are from the Psalm for today, Psalm 62:
Those of low estate are but a breath,
those of high estate are a delusion;
in the balances they go up;
they are together lighter than a breath.
10Put no confidence in extortion,
and set no vain hopes on robbery;
if riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
11Once God has spoken;
twice have I heard this:
that power belongs to God,
12 and steadfast love belongs to you, O Lord.
For you repay to all
according to their work.
Have a great day, Kuwait.
Good morning. I arrived this morning (night flight) and was also pleasantly surprised with the weather.
Beautiful sunrise… and whilst we do often have pollution, I have to say this morning looked hazy across Kuwait as we came in to land.
Good morning to you too 🙂
Its gonna be a looong day ahead of me starting with work and then preparation for the event tomorrow hehehehe wish me luck
It was a beautiful morning, Bu Yousef! I imagine it was lovely flying in during the early hours.
Ansam, you are a bundle of energy, and I know that this day is going to be productive to the max for you, and you will be amazed at what you accomplish. 🙂
Weather specialists say there will be a lot of rain this year. Hope their right.
Its 12:41am now and I am about to sleep! Really eventful day! One of my friends told me she gets tired sometimes when she hear about how my day went LOL! I have a longer day ahead of me now… good night now 🙂
It was really beautiful from the air. I posted a photo taken around the same time as yours – from the air. I was on the BA flight that arrived early morning.

Mac – I hope so, too. When I lived in Qatar, my Qatteri friends told me their grandmothers said that Qatar was once lush and green. Have you ever heard this from any of the elders about Kuwait? I wonder if it was once much greener here?
Ansam, I am delighted to hear you had such a good and productive day. I hope you sleep well.
Oh, Bu Yousef, your photo is beautiful. Welcome home.
