Amazing.. I love the last 2.. I am not in Kuwait and thing is I really can’t take photos of a sun set at the moment coz I am feeding the kids and getting them ready for bed lol.. but I really want to do that one day!
I can’t compete with that!
wait a second… the picture before the last.. I didn’t know we had places like that in Kuwait? 😛
They are ALL breathtaking…WOW
The first one actually puts me in the soothing caress of the sea waves.
I kinda love the 6th one the best coz of the perspective and inspirational colors.
What’s his flicker account? I would love to check out his other pics 🙂
they are all good.. but like yousef, were all of them taken in Kuwait?
The third one is nice… in the boat and the sun is so big! I also like the last three… but were they taken in Kuwait?
ShoSho, can you feel the time already running through your fingers as your boys get bigger day by day? One day – sooner than you think – you will have all the time in the world for sunsets, but you will be distracted wondering “Where are they??” and then, God willing, later you will be distracted by family gatherings and even . . . grandchildren! Yes! Yes! It’s just a heartbeat that they are young!
Yousef – Yes, Yousef. Yes, you can. All you have to do is let yourself believe and you will find a great shot. Remember, we want to see through YOUR eyes.
No, I agree, I don’t think the next to last is Kuwait. If it is not, it won’t qualify.
Darya – aren’t they magnificent? Inspirational? Charge those batteries! Show us the beauty of a sunset through YOUR eyes.
Ansam – We have to wait for AbdulAziz to tell us – they are awesome, aren’t they? Have they got you thinking about YOUR sunset shots?
yeah… just dont know where would be a good spot to start from
Thanks Xpat for sharing my photographs. Im really glad that everyone likes them 🙂
obviously i had the headstart on this challenge, i really hope they trigger the interest in capturing such unique moments in ones’ life.
All these shots i love so much and i really cant pick which one is my favourate. yousef and ansam are totally correct pictures 6+7 were not taken in kuwait.. because you all know that its imposible to get a shot of a sunset on the beach over here, beacuse the sea is always to the east. they were taken in beirut, actually this was the last sunset of 2006 (new years eve of 07). and these rocks are very famous in lebanon they are called “AlRawcheh” (they are on their currency).
it is known that desperate lovers would commit suicide and jump into the sea from them.
As for the sunsets taken in kuwait,, they were taken while i was a few miles away from land ,, so if you are looking to the setting sun that means kuwait city is straight ahead in the picture..
Thank you, AbdulAziz – they are all lovely.
These photographs are beautiful – and I thought those rocks looked familiar. I don’t know about people committing suicide from them these days, but they certainly are one of Beirut’s many famous sights.
love the photos and love the idea of the sunset contest!
Great idea…
What a wonderful collection of photos by Abdelaziz. Thank you for sharing.
WOW, They are breathtaking!!!! Mashala

I knew you would love them, Little Diamond!
Bu Yousef? Bu Yousef? I am looking for YOUR entry (entries!)
Chirp – Wish you were here, would love to see the sunset through your eyes. 🙂
3baid – Thanks for including me. Where is your entry in the Gr8 Q8 Sunset Contest?
🙂
I finally took it earlier this evening. Will post it tomorrow and let you know. Thanks.
I checked, Bu Yousef! It’s not there yet!
Sorry… Just posted it.
I found it! Holy WOW! It is thoughtful, subtle, full of light, pensive and MAGNIFICENT!
