Why Dogs Hate Halloween

A friend sent me a very long e-mail this morning, full of photos like these. I am only sharing these with you at the end of the work day because I don’t want your boss to hear you laughing out loud: 🙂

Can you imagine? Have they no pride, no dignity? A dog will be a good sport and will go along with just about anything. A cat will scratch your eyes out if you are even thinking about it! LLOOLL

  6. Hi since you are American I have a cooking question if you don’t mind lol..

Baking Soda is Baking Powder OR Bicarbonate of Soda?

1 stick of butter is how many grams exactly?

    Thanks in advance lol..

  7. ShoSho – LOL – I always carry spare measuring cups and measuring spoons for my European and Gulf friends who use the metric measurements, so they can follow my recipes!

Baking Soda is bicarbonate of Soda.

500 grams is roughly a pound. A pound of butter contains 4 “sticks”. Each stick is approximately 1/2 cup or 125 grams.

A quick way to remember: “A Pints a Pound the world round” (which means that a pint = half a liter = 2 cups = 1 lb.

1 lb = 454 grams (so we just use 500 grams as approx 1 lb.)

    So . . . what are you baking? 🙂
