Qatteri Cat Says “Whaaaaaat?”

00santaslittlehelper

Those little eyes look SO innocent, don’t they?

Don’t believe it for a moment!

Every morning, I have to gather up ornaments that have been knocked off. I have to glue them back together (I don’t hang anything very valuable on the lower branches, but it is annoying to have to glue things back all the time.)

He had his eye on one ornament and I said his name. He looked at me. His eyes said “Whaaaaaaat” you know, that three syllable what that means “why do you think I would do something like that” when you are thinking of doing something like that.

You don’t fool me one bit, Qattari Cat.

  1. oh they are not! Reminds me of my babies. One moment they are sitting there so sweet cuddled up and the next thing I know is that they are literally pulling my hair! or climbing on the curtains!

I’m putting my christmas tree up in a moment!

My dog isn’t good at this: She looks soooo guilty I allready know somethings up before I have entered the house! 🙂

  4. LOL, Chika, you really know cats! Mine is very lovey these days, as I am his primary heat source. 🙂

LOOLL, Aafke, I bet you have a REAL tree, too. (Yearning!) LOL, I think dogs are born guilty and cats are born arrogant! And thanks – it was just having my camera nearby at just the right moment, but I love those “innocent” eyes – or eye.

  7. I actually find my cat looking at the tree like she is shopping for the next ornament she wants. She even stands on the presents so she can get a selection that is higher up. I once lost an entire tree full of glass ornaments to a cat so most of my ornaments now are unbreakable, like wood or metal. I don’t have to do any gluing.

Aafke – I am so envious! I miss that wonderful smell!

Q8Geek – I wish I were that clever. I am just lucky I had a camera handy to capture the moment of temptation there. 🙂

    Thanks, B. 🙂

3baid – You are amazing. You even THINK like a cat! 🙂

  12. You could burn some pine-essential-oil near your tree, or just sprinkle it on a bit of cottonwool and stuff it in between rthe branches.

  14. Aafke – Nope! It just smells like air-freshener, or worse – like cleaner, like Pine-Sol. There is nothing that smells as good as a real tree, a fresh tree. Are you sitting down? They actually fly fresh trees into Kuwait; I have heard there is a small supply that comes in and sells out quickly every year. No kidding!

3baid *scratches behind his ears* 🙂
