Stormy Weather

I heard a strange sound last night, and couldn’t figure out what it was. When I did – I laughed. How could a girl from the Pacific Northwest not know the sound of rain on the windows?

Here is what the “sunrise” looks like this morning:

It’s 61°F/16C early this Sunday morning, and the forecast is for light rain. We really need a good, soaking, heavy rain. Insh’allah.

  3. ah…finally was hoping to see you mention the rains, the past two days! 🙂 its been beautiful the past couple of days, the weather, and it did rain. on saturday, it poured in our parts, and it was lovely the breeze, the fresh air, the smell of mud…..was thinking today too, should hold on to these rare but few days of rain, the desert rains! 🙂

  4. Jewaira – More! More!

We did get quite a bit today . . . and in the Kuwait Times, a meteorologist says there are southeasterly winds and it could rain most of the entire month of February, hhhooooorrraaayyyyyy!

1001 Nights . . yeh. It’s not like people are going to slow down any just because of a little rain, aarrgh.

Onlooker – I love the smell! But it might pour in your neighborhood, and be dry as a bone in mine! I would love to see one of those mighty storms over the whole of Kuwait!
