    very informative signs

It seems they had enough of people (women) showing their meat , and of harassing shoppers (The disease that inflicts the Gulfis)

  2. Daggero, we laugh and think we have been here too long, but we have been astonished at what some people think is appropriate to wear in this conservative country. Not just women! Some of it is pretty shocking. The harassment is just sad. Doha is, for the most part, immaculately clean, however. The standards are enforced. Come visit. 🙂

  4. WOW! So many Kuwaitis exploring Alaska this summer – and it can be so dreary! I hope they have a great adventure and have a couple sunny days to help them enjoy how incredibly beautiful Alaska can be. Thank you for the web referral, Daggero!

  5. I saw a man arguing with a ‘bouncer’ in Dubai at the hotel’s club. He wanted to get in claiming he had the right shoes and trousers. He said this a few times! and he did have shoes and trousers – but was too drunk to realise he had left his shirt behind!

  6. Oh, Bu Yousef. That’s really drunk! Next thing you know, he’s throwing up. Qatar also has some clubs. Honestly, I don’t go there. Not my scene. They have these wonderful dhow rides along the Corniche, you just catch a boat and you’re on the water for 30 – 45 minutes – sheer heaven.
