  2. It is nice to see that the beach is pristine and people are enjoying it again, Tourist and spring breakers are back in town and the memory of BP”s oil spill is long forgotten

    Daggero, it is not truly pristine . . . few beaches ever are. We were at Ft. Pickens yesterday, and it looked to me like environmental officials were counting softball-sized tarballs in one area. There are mats of oil hidden down under layers of sand. It is still beautiful, but there is still a reminder here and there of the terrible spill. We don’t know what it has done in the deeps of the Gulf or to the aquatic life.

  5. Hmm. I adore paella! Yes, Mrm. I have two paella pans, and I want to make paella. Will a home-made-paella post be OK? It will probably be a week or two before I can try it. Then . . . you really need to come visit. We will fix wonderful seafood dishes for you, and spoil you. 🙂
