  1. my that was moving! 🙂 yes some things mean a lot more than what they appear to be. Was listening to few of the old songs of my childhood, and was amazed how it transports you, exactly like a time machine! 🙂

  2. I agree with you, Onlooker. Scientists say that the MOST evocative sense is smell, and I have found that to be true. But I often use music to alter my mood. If I am a little depressed, it soothes and lifts me. My absolute favorite will surprise you – it is an African gospel CD by the Soweto Gospel Choir called Grace. It doesn’t evoke anything, it just calls me to a better mental state, more joyous. 🙂

  3. Thanks for sharing-I love this ad but didn’t realize it was actually the exact same car. Almost like a Paul Harvey story.

  4. I love this ad! It really pulls the heartstrings. But . . . is an ad effective if it doesn’t make you want to buy the product? I love the story, but buying a Chevy leaves me cold . . . .

  5. I know what you mean. I really like the Chrysler ads, imported from Detroit. I’m more likely to buy that. Course maybe it’s because my daughter lives so close to Detroit.
