New Stats on WordPress

When I went to my Stat page today, I found a new presentation – the countries my visitors are from, listed and in color codes on a map:

Pretty cool, hmmm?

While most of my visitors are from the US, I still get a substantial number from Kuwait and Qatar. 🙂

  1. WordPress keeps surprising us with new and better things. I do like the country stats but would prefer they be towards the bottom of the page and have my referrers back on top.

  2. Do you know why you don’t get visitors from Iran?

  3. Gasp! No! Fahad, I had no idea!

I have always had a lot of Iranian viewers, mostly because of posts like Levantine / Gulf / Persian Warrior Women

Blocked in Iran . . . . I suppose I should be honored, but I always enjoyed what my Iranian visitors had to say. And, of course, I had a lot of Iranian friends in Qatar and Kuwait.

Most young people today are good at figuring out how to do what they want on the internet. I trust they’ve found a way around the block, but officially, I have no Iranian visitors. 🙂

  4. I always like to dabble in the unknown. Oh, what fun it is to interact and network with people whose ethnicity and backgrounds we are clueless about! Don’t think there’s much use of it; visitor stats on my blog for sure.
